In Cutr’s industry, a single invoice can represent a significant share of a customer’s annual turnover. Projects take months to deliver. As transaction sizes increased, managing high-value orders without constraining cash flow became critical to unlocking growth.
By integrating Two’s B2B credit infrastructure, Cutr scaled monthly turnover from €50k–€100k to €1.5M - expanding into larger enterprise opportunities by using financing as a key value add.
The Challenge
Construction-tech is driven by high-value, project-based transactions. Orders are bespoke, production cycles vary, and final deliverables are not always fully defined when the first invoice is issued.
As Cutr grew, two priorities became clear:
- Building predictable, scalable cash flow across larger projects
- Avoiding the need to build underwriting, credit decisioning, and collections infrastructure in-house
Traditional banks were not structured for irregular, six-figure, project-based invoicing. Many standard B2B payment providers struggled to support larger transactions where the size of an individual order is material relative to the buyer’s available liquidity.
As Oscar Peppitt, Founder of Cutr, explains:
"None of the competitors I saw were thinking for the use-case where the size of the transaction relative to the customer is so large they can't float it with their own cash flow. In our industry, that's almost every single transaction. Two were very clearly thinking about these sorts of things."

The Results
The impact has been measurable across revenue, operations, and working capital.
- Revenue: Cutr scaled to €1.5M in monthly turnover without building a payments and finance team.
- Engineering efficiency: By leveraging Two’s API and credit infrastructure, Cutr avoided building and maintaining a proprietary credit and collections system internally.
As Oscar notes:
"Two has definitely saved us, at a minimum, two engineers over a year - just by having an API that manages all this stuff externally versus us having to build it ourselves."
- Cash flow flexibility: Embedding B2B credit into the platform improved Cutr’s ability to support larger transactions and pursue higher-value projects with greater confidence.
Most significantly, financing became a commercial enabler. The ability to offer flexible payment terms positioned Cutr to compete for contracts that would previously have been difficult to execute - including multi-million-dollar fitouts.
