Two launches world’s first integrated in-store B2B solution with Flow Retail and Eplehuset

Today, Two is happy to announce a world first for in-store B2B purchases, in partnership with Norwegian based Point-of-Sale platform Flow Retail. The new solution enables the direct integration of Two’s advanced credit and fraud engine, customer verification, and net term capabilities to in-store POS systems for Eplehuset across 4 major locations in Norway.

Why is this a big deal?

Servicing business customers in-store has historically been difficult to manage. B2B payment solutions typically don’t “talk” to existing POS systems, making it a challenge for merchants to operate across multiple systems. This can create additional administrative work and a longer purchasing experience for the customer.

This partnership combines Two’s B2B payment solution with Flow Retails feature-rich POS system, optimised to handle thousands of sales.

“We are thrilled to partner with Two and bring the world's first instore B2B payment solution directly in Flow Retail POS. This integration represents a significant leap forward in operational efficiency and customer service, marking a new era for in-store business transactions.” says Tommy Sparøy, Head of Sales and Partnership at Flow Retail.

The end result for Eplehuset is a fully integrated B2B payment solution right there at the checkout.

So how does it work?

When a B2B customer wants to purchase in-store from Eplehuset, they run through the following simple process:

First Eplehuset creates an order using Flow Retail’s POS and chooses to sell on B2B invoice. Then the business customer details are added:

An SMS is then sent to the customer with a link. From here, the customer verifies their identity using Vipps.

Lastly, the order is completed and the invoice is sent both directly to Eplehuset’s accounting system and the buyer. Ultimately, this solution allows Eplehuset to offer their in-store customer net terms instantly, all while reducing fraud and admin.

"Since we started working with Two, we have seen improvements in our customer journey, eliminated pain points and are making customers, in especially small businesses, more satisfied. For the optimal omni-experience, we have long wanted to offer the same solution in our stores and service centres. Having worked closely together with Flow Retail and Two, we are now proud of the results and are excited to roll out the solution for all business customers.” says Line S. Ludvigsen, Marketing and E-Commerce Manager at Eplehuset.

Working together to bring the best customer experience

Eplehuset, a long term customer of Two, has already seen considerable success across their online store, seeing a 108% increase in new sales and 34% increase in average order value thanks to a 90% acceptance rate.

“From Two’s side, this is a milestone, finally breaking down the barriers between the b commerce and physical world. Commerce doesn’t have any boundaries and nor should the payment method for business.” - Joachim Krüger, Director of Product and Co-Founder at Two.
